Check this, 1970 LS6 SS454 Chevelle Disguised as a 1971 Model for Racing Hidden Since 1989!

In a way the whole story kinda reminds us of the sleeper story, since the base of the whole deal is that the car is made to look like it is a lot slower than it actually is, and to hide its speed to the best of its abilities.

Apparently, the owner did not want everybody to know how fast his car truly is, so he decided that he’ll make the car look as a different model in order to be able to enter a lower racing class, which enabled him to win so much money that the car practically payed for itself.

Before the 90’s started, the owner decided to park the car and leave it stored away at its current location and has been only shown to a selected audience. And now thank so Patrick Nichols we all get to hear the story of the disguised 1970 LS6 SS454 CHEVELLE, which cheated its way into the lower class, check it out.
