Ken Block’s Climbkhana: Pikes Peak Featuring the Hoonicorn V2!

They call it Men versus Mountain but in reality it should be called Men and Machine versus Mountain because we cannot disregard that methanol fueled Hoonicorn RTR V2, a 1965 based Ford Mustang that has been fitted with two turbines capable of cramming down insane amounts of air into the engine raising the power to amazing 1,400 horsepower.

By now you all have heard of Ken Block, a rally racer that enjoys drifting in his spare time which with the help of some amazing film crews have brought us the Gymkhana series videos.

This time he is combining his Gymkhana with a hill climb race of the most famous hill climb in the world, the so called race to the clouds, the infamous Pikes Peak.

The track is comprised of head-spinning 156 turns (yeah good luck trying to remember all of them) thru 12.5 miles and an elevation gain of 14,115’.

Now that you know everything there is to know, go ahead and play the video, and make sure to turn up the speakers to hear that Hoonicorn scream on the way up.
