There are many different ways to introduce Larry Larson and his truck, but it seems that the newest one is “that guy that has a turbo attached to his truck”.
By now you have probably heard that he has one of the biggest turbo chargers ever to be fitted to a racing truck and that was due to the weight limitations that the twin turbo setup provided for the NoPrep events.
Getting a single unit to provide maximum power is one thing, but at the same time setting the chassis up to put the power down to the surface which has not been prepped is a totally different thing, which is not easy at all.
This tiresome process has been troubling Larry for a while but lately he has been getting better and better at it, and he has been getting faster and faster.
