The biggest reason that this vehicle was built was that this guy can dress up like Batman and use it as transportation to and back from the hospital where he visits sick kids and brings them some joy, and that in out books makes this a great Batmobile.
It began life as a 1973 Chevrolet El Camino and apparently it went thru some incredible changes like those huge 44 inch tires, and to show that this was a project that was close to his heart instead of mind, is the fact that he did not even bother keeping any of the receipts so he really does not know what is the total cost of this vehicle, and can you really put a price on happiness?
