Take a look at this MASSIVE FIRE – Runaway Diesel on the Dyno!!
Many times we have jinxed ourselves and as soon as the words fly out of our mouth we kinda hope we could have brought them back, but it always seems too late for that, and this in our opinion is something that happened to the Dirty Ho*ker Diesel team who managed to put together their Ho*ker Duramax Chevy literally just days before the event.
As soon as the truck made its first run everybody was clear that this thing is hot, but nobody was expecting it to be “massive fire” hot once it tries to do its inaugural pull on the dyno.
These guys were cautious during their interview and repeatedly said that they hope the truck stays together during the dyno run, mentioning that they have not put down this truck thru a proper shakedown, which became obvious within seconds into their pull when a massive fire erupted in the engine bay when the compressor flew apart causing the fire.
The important thing is that the driver and the guys that operated the dyno are all fine, so check it out.
