Old School Ford GT40 DESTROYS a Hellcat…Hell Yeah!

The year was 1963 and the blue oval badged cars were selling in incredible numbers and were making great profit for the company so Henry Ford II decided that they need a part of the company that will be popular and successful in GT racing.

The best course of action they decided, is not spend years of research and tons of money to do it, but rather buy an entire company that was already established in this field, and there was nobody better at this than Ferrari.

While the Italian company was dominating the sport of auto-racing, the business side was lacking so even Enzo Ferrari liked the idea of selling his company and merging with Ford.

The whole deal was dropped because Enzo wanted to keep his racing department under his control and Ford would not allow this, and Enzo literally got up, went to lunch, and never returned to the negotiating table.

The extreme arrogance of the Italian infuriated the American so much, that he decided to build his own GT car and destroy Ferrari at his own game.

Many years, and an undisclosed amount of money later, the Ford GT40 was born, literally out of spite.

This time, the old-timer is teaching some new kids a lesson, showing them that it still has some moves in those old bones, don’t miss the action!
