Not all tracks are brand new and in perfect condition, and to be honest, old racing strips like this one have something special about them, they have history.
It’s a different kind of risk to be racing on this track, since that shabby guard rail does not look strong enough to sop a 4000lbs car which is out of control at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
Nevertheless these guy in Ohio apparently love being in danger so they took their 1000+ horsepower Big Block Nova and they are launching it down the straight putting down some amazing times on that scoreboard.
We have to give them props for the video because no matter how poor the track’s state looks, they have a drone to film the races.
