Getting a race car to work perfectly is a monstrous task of trial and error, you tweak one thing, tighten another, and loosen up a third piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is a race car, to get the best you can get out of it, and there are so many things to check and recheck and tighten and loosen it can literally drive the mechanics crazy.
The car we are about to show you might have many small adjustments to be made, but lucky for them, the biggest problem for this Nova, is keeping that front end on the ground!
This monstrosity has so much torque that it just refuses to keep the front tires in contact with the dragstrip, and well you kinda need them to touch the pavement in order to steer for those few seconds at full power.
You just have to see Frank Mamone’s Outlaw 10.5 blown (HEMI V8 471ci powered) Nova which has so much power that the driver peddled it and still went damn near 200 mph, enjoy.
