There is much talk all over the drag racing community that the cars that are raced as street cars these days, are almost never on the street, and that there should still be races for the real street cars, that are used as the sole means of transportation to and from the race track, since that is the true meaning of a street car.
At the same time, the rules do allow those guys to have purposely build cars for the track, and still be compliant with the specifications, and in a way, they are both right.
They both have leverage to their claims but it seems that this time, the video which is shot in North Caroline, favors the first group, and that is not bad at all, in a matter of fact, it makes for some great racing.
The track is very sketchy and very slippery but at the same time, the lack of grip is a great power equalizer and that as always makes things much more fun, enjoy.
