Abandoned Drag Strip Found in The Middle of Nowhere!!
Recently the internet has been flooded with amazing rides that have been abandoned by their owners, and left to fight the battle with time and nature’s elements all by themselves with no help at all, but today, the story of an abandoned race track is something that honestly comes as a surprise.
In a turn of events the once famous temples of racing have been left to deteriorate turning into nothing more than a rough strip of paved straight road, littered by potholes and overgrown with vegetation.
The famous history of this track, was cut short back in 1972 when it was severely damaged by the powerful Hurricane Agnes that hit this area 45 years ago, and although the track could have been repaired, it was apparently decided against it.
