Take a look at this, Blown 1969 Chevy Chevelle Rips Dyno!!
Aside from the race track, the Dyno is a great place to see how far you have come with your engine built and how much actual power the setup you have decided upon is making.
Today’s video brings us a 1969 Chevelle which has just been strapped on a Dyno in order to get the car properly tuned because we all know it’s not just about strapping parts on and hitting the street, you actually have to make adjustments in order to get the best out of the setup that you have.
The blown Chevelle was good for 687 horsepower, as well as 624 ft./lbs. with about 8 psi of boost while slurping 93 octane fuel.
Since he did not show us the numbers, we would have to take his word for it, but the way the car lurched up it looks that that engine is making plenty of power, so check it out and see for yourself.
