Camaro Hood FAIL Takes Unexpected Turn During Drag!
At the Lights Out 8 event, there were quite a lot of cars that were fast and impressive but ever since the beginning our eye caught a split bumper Camaro that was just flying out of the hole and putting consistently fast times and looking awesome doing it.
This monster had a Procharged 427 small block under thehood, releasing an astonishing 1,800 horses on tap, while running about 30 pounds of boos. However, on one of those testing runs, disaster struck as the entire hood took flight at high speeds losing the battle that she fought with the extremely high air flow.
With their tight schedule full, since they were competing in two classes, it looked like there is no time to get a new hood for their car.
What happened next is one of the most famous characteristics of motor racers, real sportsmanship and generosity, as the team of Procharger gave their own hood from their Show Car just so they can continue their fight towards the top ranks.
