Take a look at this, Dallas County Deputies Under Investigation Over Drag Racing Event!!!
Once again bureaucracy veers its ugly head and is trying to do more harm than good on the larger scale.
Two deputies decided to take part in the local drag racing event, using the Police cruisers and raced against each other to the great pleasure of the crowd.
We are not saying that they hated doing it, and did not have some well-deserved fun, however in the current situation we think that these guys did great work.
As we all know the Police forces are getting the cold shoulder in their communities due to the things that have been going on lately, and these guys decided that participating in such an event will earn them some “cool points” with the community, and rightly so.
They showed the other enthusiasts that racing needs to stay at the track, in order to save lives, and now some “pencil pusher” is trying to get these guys in trouble for doing so.
We understand that the cruisers are public property but we are sure that one launch won’t hurt them, and that these guys have done more good with participating.
