What can be more exciting than a car that is running at world record pace?
Well apparently two of them as we are about to see a world record destroyed by the fastest car on the planet that actually has doors.
At the Street Car Super Nationals event that was held at Gateway Motorsports Park located in St. Louis back in August of 2014 the Q80 Camaro with Turky Al Zafiri behind the wheel managed to get to the 5.47 time and top the world’s fastest door car.
But in the next round he was up against Frankie Taylor and as unbelievable as it sounds, Frankie managed to pull a 5.47@263 but guess what, since this was the fastest ever pass by two cars simultaneously, the Q80 team went a tenth faster and pulled a 5346@272mph, grabbing the win and the record at the same time in one of the closest races ever.
