Take a look at this, Gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Camaro LS7 Z28 Carbon Fiber Build Project!

You might expect that this is brand new technology due to how expensive it is and how rare the cars are that are made from carbon fiber, but in fact the first time carbon fibers were produced, was actually quite a long time ago, in 1860 and they were to be used in light bulbs.

The carbon fiber that we are familiar with however was produced in 1958 and has been developed into stronger variants ever since.

As a technology it has been used widely in car racing since the 80s but only very expensive cars use it in road going cars and the most often reason for that is its price as well as the inability for a quick fix by a body shop.

Today’s video brings you a 1969 Chevy Camaro project of a LS7 Z28 that is to be wrapped in Carbon Fiber making it very light.

So check out how the whole thing was built in this great video bellow.
