No matter how much we hate when a racing car gets damaged, the fact is neither us nor the driver can prevent this from happening indefinitely.
Racing is a dangerous sport and crashing is just a part of it, but over time strict regulations and great safety gear improvements have made it safer than ever, and we are glad that most of the crashes that happen these days are with almost no consequences to the driver.
The cars however, do get injured, and yes we know that it’s only metal (mostly) but we also know the fact that behind every race car there are hundreds of hours spend building it, tweaking it, and blood and sweat has been spilled in order to get that car on that racing track.
