Now some might say that all you need is a beater made in the 50’s and a huge V-8 and voila you got yourself a rat rod but in reality, the process is much more complexed and difficult, because we all know there is a lot of fabrication required for that kind of a quest.
The amount of skill required to undertake a task like this one is huge and there are literally hundreds of parts that need modifying in order to fit in the new vehicle but you have to admit, once the whole thing is over and done with, once you hear that engine roar, all those hardships are forgotten.
This time we join such a homemade monster powered by a Chevy Small Block engine, which is sprayed with nitrous and is competing in two racing classes, the drag radial, and the street tire, and it did not embarrass itself in either of them, while racing at the I-29 Heads Up No Prep race.
