Many will recognize the famous 1957 Chevy with Jeff Lutz behind the wheel and realize that something’s not right here, and for a good reason.
This 1957 Chevy as you are about to see, got destroyed this season during the 405 races that determine the list which selects the drivers that are going to be representing the Oklahoma crew at America’s List.
Jeff managed to be one of the top five competitors and went to race in America’s List, however, that was not the luck of the ‘57 Chevy which got destroyed in this video.
Today we are bringing you a reminder of how dangerous this sport is and how much these guys risk their lives every time Big Chief turns on that flashlight, marking the start of the race.
While Jeff had been doing very well in this series of list racing, it seemed that the dream of racing in the big league with the rest of the fastest guys in America, shattered right at the finish line as Jeff flew sideways over it.
As you are about to see once again, the destruction was massive and all Jeff could do is crawl out of that car in serious pain.
As unbelievable as it sounds, the only time that he mentioned quitting racing after this terrible crash, was as a part of the joke, because as soon as Jeff was back he knew that nothing is finished, and he needs to go back to racing.
Surviving a crash like this might mean an end to a career for many but not Jeff because as soon as he was back on his feet, he got into his new No Prep Kings car, the yellow GTO, and took it to the streets where it did not belong and managed to finish in the top five.
