Just like many other Invitational finals, we once again have the 405 vs the NOLA team and while many might think that Kye is once again trying to grab the win from Ryan Martin, it is a different 405 team member in the staging lane next to Kye Kelley.
For the second time this season, we have Jeff Lutz in the finals and just like most of Ryan’s fans and all the 405 team members, everybody is rooting for Jeff to finally get an invitational win for the first time this season.
Some are already talking about Jeff Lutz, saying that he is the go-to guy when Ryan Martin needs help in keeping the distance between Kye Kelley and himself in the championship standings.
On the other hand, we think that it is time for Jeff to grab the $ 40,000 pocket money and become one of the few that has won an invitational race.
Kye Kelley and the entire NOLA team, on the other hand, disagree.
In their mind, this is the season that NOLA is going to finally be able to climb to the top of the championship ladder and secure their first No Prep Kings Championship, preventing Ryan to get a third consecutive championship.
Interestingly enough, Kye Kelley has only two invitational wins this season after being in the finals (including this one) nine times. On the other hand, Ryan has amassed 13 wins out of the 15 finals that he has been a part of.
So after taking all of this into consideration, this race is more than just another final from the invitational series, it is much more and it could make waves in the championship standings that would be felt in the next two races, so let’s check out this important race and see if Jeff Lutz will be able to secure his first win, or will Kye get to his third.
