The first thing that one might find missing from the title for the second week in a row is Ryan Martin and the gray Fireball Camaro which is leading the points in the No Prep Kings Championship.
Yesterday, Ryan managed to grab the first spot in the Great 8 event which brought him a few points, and now all of a sudden, we have Kye Kelley in the finals against no other than Jim Howe.
The final itself suggests that Kye might be able to reduce the points advantage that Ryan has at the moment and if he is able to get in front of Jim, well things might be much more interesting in the next few events that follow.
On the other hand, Ryan Martin managed to get himself out of the competition because of the red light at the starting line.
This is the same racer that has not jumped the light in more than 4 seasons of No Prep Kings
Championship and has never lost a race this way in the last few years, and all of a sudden he has lost two events due to the same problem, turning on the red light while launching at the same time as the guy in the lane next to him.
To be honest we have watched the video of the race between Justin Swanstrom and Ryan Martin more than we can count and the video keeps showing us a green light turned on before the Gray Fireball Camaro makes any move, so we are quite astonished by the result as it is.
Nevertheless, we have to accept the decision on the track and consider him a loser as we go on to watch the finals between Kye Kelley and Jim Howe as they battle for the $40 000 dollars and some very important points.
