The simple rule that truck drivers keep telling everybody when they are explaining about a semi’s blind spots is; “If You can’t see my mirrors, I can’t see you either, so make sure you can see my mirrors in order for me to keep you safer”.
Now that said, dragging a car for nearly 4 miles that has been stuck in the trailer, can only mean that this professional truck driver, did not take a look in the mirror for the entire time, or how else could he miss the smoking car that has been dragging op Cajon Pass.
In all honesty, the video does not tell us how the whole thing started and how the car got wedged in there in the first place, or who hit who at an on/off ramp, but the fact still remains that he should have noticed that he is involuntarily towing a car, instead of waiting for other motorists to flag him down.
