Street Outlaws 405 Reaper SS New No Prep Kings Turbo Setup!

Take a look at this, Street Outlaws 405 Reaper SS New No Prep Kings Turbo Setup!

James Goad AKA Reape is and has been one of the most controversial racers that we have seen on the Street Outlaws show as well as the No Prep Kings Championship over the years.

We first saw him while fighting to get up the famous 405 list along with the rest of the racers from Oklahoma, and even then his appearances were troubled with controversy and arguments.

For a while, many of the 405 guys were doubtful that he followed their rules when it came to building the car, and according to many his car was not a real street car, instead, it was a pro-mod disguised as a street car.

Interestingly enough, it was he who brought up this subject trying to squash the rumors of his car not fitting the rules, however, in a very unfortunate turn of events, the 405 crew realized that he had covered the composite parts of the car with metal just to try and convince them that the roof and pillars are metal.

That argument ended with his car being taken off the list.

These days he has been racing in the No Prep Kings championship where he has had a decent amount of success, however, he apparently is not satisfied with the result and after the new set of rules regarding the weight of certain combinations, he has now decided to change the procharger setup that he has been running.

With the new rules allowing the twin-turbo cars to be lighter than the procharged ones, he has now made a drastic move and is going with this combination in order to try and pursue more consistency.

According to him, the procharger setup caused many malfunctions with the car and this is the biggest reason he had to move away from it and strap on a couple of “snails” to his engine.

As always, the change is not easy so he has a difficult road ahead of him in order to get this car tuned to the best of its abilities, so check out the video and let him tell you about it himself.
