We have heard all the racers saying that it is a tuners game over and over again, and what they mean is that the cars are so close that one of them is going to put just a bit too much power in the tune-up and go over the limit of what the car can handle on this road and it will start spinning the tires without really going anywhere.
As we all know, Brandon, his son is tuning Jerry Monza’s car and it seems that lately, he has not been feeling that his dad has confidence in his tuning abilities.
Monza’s car has made incredible progress this season and there is no doubt that Brandon is responsible for the biggest part of that said progress, however, he also had the help of the rest of the 405 team.
As many seasons so far, these guys have been helping each other out during the street races and they have been building their teamwork to a different level. Amongst the others who have helped Brandon get Monza’s car to go faster and straighter than ever, is no other than Daddy Dave, the guy who is lining up against him in the other lane on this great piece of road in Chicago.
So for Dave, this must be a really sharp double-edged sword.
On one hand, he wants Monza’s Camaro to go faster than ever and be proud of the work that he has put in helping Brandon tune the car to a whole new level of speed.
While on the other hand, he wants to go faster than ever and get ready for the guys that he is supposed to race on America’s List.
