Sunken Ship Pulled From The Bottom of the Ocean Loaded With Over 1,400 Cars Still Intact!

Ships these days have an extremely high tolerance to anything nature can throw at them, and this is why ships sinking has rarely in the news in the last few decades, but no matter how well protected they are, rare situations like this still occur.

The one that caught our attention comes from the Dutch coast south of Rotterdam which is one of the busiest ports in Europe, and also for a while it was the resting place of the Baltic Ace, as vessel especially made to transport cars.

It was on the 12 od December when this huge vessel found its way to the bottom, in the middle of the main shipping lane leading to Rotterdam port. Although this vessel was insured to 55 million dollars the company decided that it presented a danger to other vessels so they decided to spend 73 million dollars in order to get it off the sea floor along with the 1400 cars that were on board.

This mammoth task was completed by Boskalis and its partner Mammoet Salvage even ahead of schedule and we bring you the video of how it was done, so check it out.
