Today we join Patrick Glenn Nichols from the Musclecar Barn Finds YouTube channel as he is about to uncover an amazing muscle car that has been hiding away in western Pennsylvania, since 1978.

This Cranberry Red 1970 Chevelle SS396 still has the original paint, original engine, transmission, rear axle, interior, or to keep it shorter, it is nearly as original as it left the factory all those years back.

As some would say, whoever decided to park it in nearly perfect condition was smart, since doing it was a better investment than putting money in the bank since a special vehicle like this one is nearly impossible to lose its value.

Patrick apparently knows his stuff so he is the best guy to take you on a tour around this car and explain what everything is supposed to look like and how it is now.

Hopefully he got to buy this car but that begs a different question. With a car in this condition do you even restore it or just keep it in its original shape, what would you do?
