For those of you that have missed it, about ten days ago Shawn and his Murder Nova were out testing in Alabama, and what looked like the perfect pass, suddenly turned violent and Shawn ended up putting the Murder Nova into the wall.
The reason why we say that he had the perfect pass is the fact that as soon as he left the line the car had one wheel up in the air and was going straight as an arrow toward the finish line.
Next thing you know, the car jerked violently to the right and that’s when Shawn started seesawing at the steering wheel trying to keep it out of the wall, unfortunately, he was unsuccessful and the car ended up rubbing against it.
Thanks to his lightning-quick reaction, he managed to keep the damage to a bare minimum with no major damage to the car apart from the door, the exhaust, and the rear quarter panel.
We have already seen pictures of it as it is being fixed and they were posted with a promise that we will be seeing the NPK Murder Nova at the next event at Rockingham so that is some great news that everybody wants to hear.
It is not a question of if, but a question of when you will crash your car is the first thing that Shawn Ellington said after his scrape in Alabama which is now being reported that happened because of an oil line blowing off.
This of course oiled the track and the car had nowhere to go but sideways like we already said.
