For a moment it will probably remind you of the heroic landing of Flight 1549 in the Hudson river, known by many as the Miracle on the Hudson, when the now famous pilot, Chesley Burnett “Sully” Sullenberger landed his Airbus A320 in the river after losing power in both engines due to a bird strike.
That day thanks to his skills, Captain Sully mad sure that all 155 souls aboard the aircraft will live to tell the tale of the famous flight.
In today’s video the situation seems to be very similar off the coast of Micronesia after their pilot performed a water landing, after overshooting the runway.
Amongst the first to arrive on the scene were some US Marines which as always did not hesitate for a second and just rushed on the scene to help the survivors get to shore.
All of the 45 people on board the aircraft survived this ordeal, and we get to see how the rescue went down.
