Watch Bikers Shield a Fallen Marine’s Family From Extremist Protesting at the Funeral!
They are called the Westboro Baptist Church and they are currently one of the most controversial groups that are appearing in the media, since amongst other things, when they decide to protest, they are truly going with the “in your face” attitude which has earned them a lot of media coverage, maybe even too much if you ask us.
They try to explain that according to them, the lives given by American soldiers overseas are a divine retribution against a nation of sinners. Now we understand that it is their right to believe whatever they want, but when they decide to hold a protest at the same location that a member of the American armed forces is being buried, well, we won’t have that.
Lucky for the family, The Patriot Guard has the same idea and they decided that the funeral of 25-year-old Marine, Corporal Richard Bennet, will not be interrupted by some controversial group if they have something to say about it.
In order to make sure none of the protesters get close enough, they created a makeshift shield of motorcycles flags and their own bodies to protect the fallen Marine.
