J.R. Gray walks away from Denver Pro Mod Crash!!!

Take a look at this, J.R. Gray walks away from Denver Pro Mod Crash!!!

Let us take you to an event named Dodge//SRT Mile-High NHRA Nationals which is held as part of the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series as the final round.

Unfortunately, during this event, J.R. Gray once again showed us just how well these race cars are build and it was truly a tribute to how much safety has been built in these race cars these days.

The race started great as both drivers launched pretty even and got out of the hole pretty food, however pretty soon J.R.’s car started moving to the left towards the center line getting dangerously close to crossing it, and thus losing the race.

There was no doubt that he is driving that car to the best of its abilities trying to keep it in his lane and avoid losing the race, however as he touches the line the car just refuses to cooperate with him and snaps sideways.

Since this happens at the big end, the car is lifted up and there is just no way for him to even try to recover it, so from this point on, J.R. Gray, changed his status from driver, to a passenger of that Pro Mod.

The impact in the wall rolls the car on its roof and sends him skidding on his roof as he crosses the line upside down.

The most important thing is that as soon as you see the car stop, the announcer tells everybody that J.R. is out of the car on his two feet and is uninjured.

Just like we said, a real reminder of how good the safety equipment of these cars is so check out this short action packed video and see how it all went down at the Bandimere Speedway during this great event held this Sunday.
