Pro Mod driver Mike Bowman’s parachutes failed On His ’69 Chevelle!!

Wow, this is insane, Pro Mod driver Mike Bowman’s parachutes failed!!

Pro Mods are very, very fast, and if you’ve watched them race there will be no doubt about this, so they rely on their parachutes in order to bring that incredible speed down after they cross the finish line.

The parachutes are a very simple device that very rarely fails but apparently from time to time even they decide to take a day off, like when Mike Bowman and his 1969 Chevelle were qualifying for the St. Louis event that you are about to see.

After the parachutes failed to deploy Mike is hard on the brakes trying to bring that speed down, and you can see that the brake rotors are glowing red near the sand trap, but the car is still going.

Thee sand trap did what it was made to do and slowed the car additionally and soon Mike’s last hope was the safety net which grabbed the car so violently that it rotated is toward the sky.
