Let us take you to north Alabama where a 1968 Corvette with a big block 427 and a four-speed gearbox is getting uncovered for the first time in decades, and while many other cars have been parked in barns from neglection or many different reasons, the hero in our story had to hide his in order to get away from the law.
The other star of the story apart from this awesome Corvette is called Big Block Mike, and nearly half a century ago, he was nothing more than a teenager with big dreams of owning a Corvette.
When you work hard your dreams come true they say, and lucky for us and Mike, his dream did manage to come thru and with the help of the local dealership, he managed to get behind the wheel of this amazing automobile.
As many would understand, Mike never purchased the above-mentioned Corvette to drive it slow, instead, as many others would, he enjoyed flooring the throttle and was happy to race anybody, just for the fun of it.
The story goes that one night he managed to race four different guys and win against all of them, which must have been one amazing night for Big Block Mike.
While he was having the time of his life, it appears that the officers of the law in his small town were less than impressed with his favorite pastime so they routinely engaged in high-speed chases trying to catch him red-handed.
