You should actually turn them down until you have watched one run from these water missiles.
They are called Top Fuel Drag Boats and just like their name suggests, this is the fastest a water bound vehicle can accelerate in the world.
The numbers are actually quite scary and they are as follows. Acceleration from a standstill to 270 miles per hour (about 430 kilometers per hour) takes about 3.5 seconds thanks to a supercharged V-8 engine which produces about 10 000 horsepower.
Each second the throttle is wide open, the engine consumes one gallon of fuel, and the whole engine needs to be rebuilt after each run.
During the for second run, the acceleration is equivalent to 6 times the force of gravity, or six G’s.
This is something that you have to sea (pun intended) for yourself.
