Check this insane drag race, 1100hp Big Block Chevy Nova Dragster Vs Ken Block’s AWD Mustang!!!

In case you have managed to miss him by now which we highly doubt, Ken Block is a guy who back in the day made a video with his Subaru Impreza STI driving the wheels of it as some would say, showing us some precision drifting and high speed sliding.

After the video went viral, there have been numerous cars that he drove for the purpose of making these videos with Hooningan before he decided to go back to the roots.

He commissioned a brand new car called Hoonicorn Mustang RTR V2, which began life back in 1965 as a Ford Mustang with a slightly different power plant.

The 1965 Mustang received a methanol-powered Roush-Yates V8 engine which is force-fed air by two Garrett turbos at the rate of 21-lb.

These modifications resulted in an engine, capable of producing 1400 horsepower which are directed into a 6-speed Sadev SC90-24 sequential gearbox before they get to drive all wheels.

You have to keep in mind, this car was never meant to be a drag car, this was a car which was going to perform great at the Pikes Peak hill climb, and yet it could hoon the streets the next day without missing a beat.

However, they found out that people loved to see it race other cars in the easiest setup there is, straight line acceleration, so in order to give the people what they want, these guys started drag racing the Mustang against some crazy competition like the McLaren Senna or the Baja Trophy truck.

This time on the other hand, they have something that was made for drag and street racing so we thing they will have their hands full with this 1100 Chevy Nova.

Check out the video and see if the Hoonicorn Mustang will remain undefeated or will this Nova finally put him in his place.
