Check this, 1967 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi vs 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 PURE STOCK DRAG RACE!!!
If you are a real American Classic Muscle car fan, this video is something that you are not supposed to miss.
Today we are taking you at the Mid-Michigan Motorplex located in Stanton, MI where quite a few Classic American Muscle cars are going at it putting down times at the dragstrip.
The most interesting part of these races is the fact that these are all racing in the Pure Stock Muscle Cars class.
Unlike other classes, this one is kept pretty closed, and by closed we mean these guys are very limited in the modification department.
The whole class was established in order to have these cars kept in pretty much the same state as they rolled off the factory floor back in the day, and have them race in all their former glory as they put down run after run at the track.
To be honest, we are happy to see all these cars in their original form or the closest they can get to it, and what is even better is the fact the few cars that we are about to see are used on a regular basis, with some of them like the ZL1 putting down more than a thousand miles a year, and even with all that, the driver put down 24 passes at the track in the two-day event.
Numbers such as that one, is a highly respectable number because beating down like that on a car that was made half a century ago only proves how good these cars are and how well they were made back then.
We decided not to list all the cars that are participating in these races, instead we would like you to watch the video and see how they perform so check them out and tell us which one would you like to drive home after a day of racing.
