“I’ve Never Seen A Chassis Rip Apart Like That!” | Street Outlaws: Mega Cash Days

That headline, “I’ve Never Seen A Chassis Rip Apart Like That!” on Street Outlaws: Mega Cash Days!!!

Let us take you back to one of the biggest street races ever, the Mega Cash Days.

We jump in the middle of racing for the huge prize, with something else which was also one of the biggest, unfortunately it was a crash.

The video takes us to the race between Dewayne Mills from Oklahoma and Jeff Lutz, who’s occupying the right hand lane. It was Jeff who could not wait for the light to turn on and actually jumped on Dewayne, however that was not even that important after a few seconds, because soon after letting go of the button, Dewayne’s car turned left and he lost control.

What followed was one of the biggest accidents which caused the chassis to rip apart, and even caused the roll cage to crumple and hit him on the helmet.

This could have been much, much worse, however, Dewayne was lucky to walk out of that one with no serious injuries, except for a few bruises.

After the horrible crash, racing resumed and we had another great matchup between Lizzy Musi and Boogie from North Carolina.

Both of these nitrous powered cars, have proved to be extremely fast, however, Lizzy has not had her share of luck on the streets lately.

You see, her crew chief is the legendary Pat Musi, the engine builder and former professional racer, and these guys have been racing on the track for many years with great success, but they are out of their element on the street, and it has been showing.

These guys are used to different rules and different conditions so they even had trouble with setting up the car in the exact tire marks, because the groove on the track is huge, and not narrow like the one on a virgin road.
