Just a few days back we discussed how Farmtruck and AZN have challenged Elon Musk to a drag race with a car that they are going to build and is going to be a purpose built race car, with a twist.
The thing is, they decided that they want to build a drag car that is powered by electricity and instead of a fuel cell it will be bringing batteries with it to power it and take it down the road to the finish line.
As we established, this is not such a bad idea due to the fact that electric motors have all of their available torque at zero revolutions per minute, meaning they will be very hard on the launch and not easy to catch before the 60-foot mark.
Today however, Sim is here with some different news.
According to him, Farmtruck and AZN are to build a car for the list.
Now the first thing that comes to mind is that this might be the same vehicle and we are getting caught up with the rumors and not seeing the big picture.
On the other hand, this is the list. This is one of the toughest places to get on with a fast car, and even if you do manage to get on it, there are always ways to get pushed to the bottom and out again due to the fact that these ten cars are the best that the OKC has to offer and the fastest.
All the cars here are legendary and very, very fast and we do not see anything that is not V-8 powered getting on here anytime soon, let alone an electric car so that hints that these are two different projects.
